It's time for another fun-filled update, kids. Get ready to feel the love!
We've recently added a new member to the Afterbirth family, and that is none other than Tacoma writer, artist and musician Vic Mudd! We're very happy to have Vic join the wild ride that is our little press and you can plan to see his whacked-out bizarro novel Deity (The Almighty's Adventures on Earth and Beyond) sometime this coming winter. Trust me, it's good one and Vic definitely fits right in with the rest of our literary misfits.
On a sadder note, Andre Duza decided to back out of his contract with us during preliminary discussions about the title of his novel. This was somewhat confusing to us, as Andre himself had said he was dissatisfied with the title, but in any case, we wish him all the best. God knows you can't go wrong with a zombie novel!
And as an aside, I advise each and every one of you to check out the latest issue of Bust Down the Door and Eat All the Chickens here: http://www.absurdistjournal.com/ and I'm not just saying that because a bunch of our own kids have stories featured within the pages. All the stories kick ass and...I have two words for you guys: resale value. These puppies are gonna go for a pretty penny one day on eBay. Seriously. You heard it here first.
And that's it for this edition of As the Afterbirth Turns. Now get the hell out of here!
